Hi Sascha,

Thanks, for closing a tab you can use middle button click. Also double click generally expands/restores a tab.

Hi Georg,

The expands/restores feature with a double click is nice but closing the tab with the middle mouse button is not so nice, isn't it.

I have the double click on my middle mouse button, so i cannot close the tab with this action.

Close Button Like in Firefox

Post by NicoleTedesco »

George,

To get an idea of what this feature entails, use the Mozilla Firefox browser with the extension that places a close button on each tab (I think that extension is called, "Tab X" -- I'm not sure about that.) If anything, out-of-the-box Firefox has a "close current tab" button on the far right side of the tab bar itself.

Eclipse also offers a "close tab" button on each tab when the tab comes in to focus.

I've wanted this feature for myself as well.

Thanks

We implemented already the close button on each tab. It will be available in the next release of <oXygen/>.
