Placing table footnotes below table

Placing table footnotes below table

Is there a way to place table footnotes below the table? This is a FrameMaker style that we would like to replicate in our PDF Chemistry PDF files.

The only area that can display the footnotes is at the end of the page, there is no support for footnotes under the tables.
