Add prefix to file name when creating a new dita file
Post by danielyuan »
Hi,
How can I create a dita file with a customized preset prefix to it? I am using Oxygen XML Editor 26. I found that the "File Name Generation Rules" had already been removed. When I clicked the "New topics preferences" settings from the New wizard, it turned out there is no "Add prefix" option. Can you provide instructions on how to achieve this goal?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Add prefix to file name when creating a new dita file
Hi Daniel,
From what version of Oxygen did you migrate to 26?
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. In the Oxygen Preferences->"DITA / Topics" page there are various settings which influence the generation of file names.
If you are not referring to that, maybe you can give me a screenshot with the "File Name Generation Rules" settings you were using before.
Are you using Oxygen to edit content from a content management system (with a special CMS integration plugin installed in Oxygen) or to edit content from the local disk?
Regards,
Radu
