DITA Map MS Word transformation - error when opening word document
Post by bigbikewriter »
Hi all. I'm having issues with one of our documents when using DITA Map MS Word transformation scenario.
The transformation is successful according to Oxygen, but the document refuses to open in Word and gives the following error:
I am able to successfully transform and open all of our other documents, it's just this one in particular that has an issue.
Does anybody have an idea on what settings or metadata in the DITA map could be causing it to fail to open in Word? Thanks!
The transformation is successful according to Oxygen, but the document refuses to open in Word and gives the following error:
I'm able to preview the document and the only thing abnormal is that the header "Template title" shows up 9 times instead of just once.Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try these suggestions.
* Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
* Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.
* Open the file with the Text Recovery converter.
I am able to successfully transform and open all of our other documents, it's just this one in particular that has an issue.
Does anybody have an idea on what settings or metadata in the DITA map could be causing it to fail to open in Word? Thanks!

Hi,
It will be hard to find the cause of the problem without a sample. Could you send us one to our support address: support@oxygenxml.com ?
If your documents contain confidential data, you can hide the text content using the Randomize XML Text Content action: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... ntent.html
Best regards,
Cosmin
