DITA transformation putting files in the wrong folder and breaking the links
Hello,
I've been using DITA transformations for the past two weeks, and I'm fairly new to the thing. Today, when I tried to transform my DITA map in HTML Responsive, I got this warning message: [DOTJ074W] Rev attribute cannot be used with prop filter. It surprised me because at no point did I use the rev attribute. Furthermore, when I opened the transformation and clicked on a link, it said that the file was missing. The ref is searching in the wrong folder:
Can someone help me with the issue?
Thanks in advance

. The transformation created a new folder called "dita_files" (which is the name of the folder where all my topics and the map are located), and I don't know why. And when I open one of the transformed topics manually, none of the images work. Can someone help me with the issue?
Thanks in advance

Edit: I've deleted one of my audience attributes and now the folders are sorted out, but none of my images work, and the HTML rendering shows no table of contents...

Hi La_Gej,
How are you opening the files - are you using an Oxygen .xpr project file, or are you simply double-clicking the .ditamap file from your desktop environment?

Hi, I'm not sure I've understood the question correctly. The ditamap is opened directly through oXygen, I don't have (nor do I know what is) a .xpr file. The HTML files are automatically opened after the transformation. And the topic files are opened by double-clicking them in my working folder.

A project file is a way to store Oxygen configuration settings and organize the files you want to work with:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... ect%2Cfile
I don't know that a project file is necessary; I was just curious how you were opening the files.
I am not sure what would be causing the issues you're seeing. Can you reproduce the issues with a reduced/small testcase? Maybe the Syncro Soft folks might have some additional ideas.

Hi,
We are not aware of such issues in Oxygen version 24.
From the details you provided, most probably, you have some resources (like submaps, topics, or any other resources), external to the main DITA Map folder.
To better notice if that's your case, if you have resources outside of the main DITA Map folder , you could open the main DITA Map in the DITA Maps Manager view and then use the "Validate and Check for Completeness" tool from the view's toolbar. Make sure that, in the validation tool, you set the "Report references to resources outside of the DITA Map folder" option.
It is known that the DITA Open Toolkit has some issues processing this kind of external resources, but there is a simple solution that you could may use of. You can find more details on this approach in this section from the Oxygen User-Guide:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -refs.html
If there are not any errors, please provide us a sample in order to reproduce the issue.

Re: DITA transformation putting files in the wrong folder and breaking the links
Good morning,
This morning I put all my topics in a new project that I created directly on oXygen, and the problem was still there, but at long last, it forced me to change all the links to my images, and then the transformation finally worked.
When I came back to the forum, I saw your last post and tried it out on my old map, and indeed, all the links to my images were problematic! That's something I will be very careful about in the future.
Many thanks to you!
