I want "Fast Create" to overwrite existing files

If a file called "Procedure.dita" already exists, and I include "Procedure" as a filename in the 'Fast create topics' dialog box, Oxygen creates the new file with a "_0" suffix (despite me not having told it to do this). I want this to actually *overwrite* the currently existing file. Is this possible?

No, this is not possible at the moment, but I created an improvement request (EXM-46686 - for reference purposes), and we will update this thread when the improvement will be available.
