Webhelp responsive TOC links

Post by QnPi01 »

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if it is possible to change a little bit the behavior of the TOC. I have a large help, where the TOC often exceeds the full page.
Can you investigate the following use case?

Whenever I click on any topic, it jumps to the to of the page where the search bar and the menu components are listed. But this is not what I want as a user. I have to scroll down a half page all the time to start to read the actual topic. I, as a user do not want to scroll down all the time. When I click on a topic from TOC I want to read it immediately.

I know, it was a design decision but it is possible to make it configurable and insert an anchor link to the topic title instead of just open it as a new page and displaying the top of the page?

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback.

I have added a feature request in our internal issue tracking. We will let you know when this will be implemented.
Regards,
