Speeding up transformation

When I am transforming a large project to webhelp, and have only updated a few topics, is it possible to change some settings so that only those updates get rebuilt in my output to speed the process up?

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. The updated topics may have references to other topics or to other elements from the ditamap, so it is not possible to update just the modify content and its references.
