Inline mapping for MARKDOWN2DITA

Post by Raga Mounika »

Hi Team,

We have checked in oXygen 18.1, support for MARKDOWN2DITA and did export the file to DITA. We got mapping for block level elements where as we couldnt get mapping for inline elements(In inline elements we have mapping for very few elements like bold, italic, quotes etc). Please help me in mapping for inline elements in MARKDOWN2DITA.

Regards,
Mounika

Hi Mounika,

I do not quite understand this. Maybe you can post a small sample Markdown document and also tell us how you would like the equivalent DITA file to look like.

Hi Radu,

I tried for block level elements like codeblock, image, table, section, example etc and it worked fine with these elements.
I need to work more on inline element support. In inline elements I can find only bold, italic, quotes. So please tell me whether there any other inline element support in Markdown rather than <b>, <i>, <lq>.

Best Regards,
Mounika

Hi Mounika,

The conversion is based on this open source project:

https://github.com/jelovirt/dita-ot-markdown

and you can find the syntax reference here:
