Opening a Topic from a Map

My company is in the process of changing CMS vendors. When I open a map in oXygen 15.2 attached to our current CMS and double-click a topic, I can choose to open the topic in either view or edit mode. When I double-click a map topic in oXygen 17.1 attached to our new CMS, there is no selection for edit or view mode; the topic always opens in view mode. Is the edit mode when opening from a map controlled by a setting within oXygen, or does it come from the CMS? I don’t find an option within oXygen to control opening topics from a map.

This is a CMS-related feature, so you need to ask them about the change they made.
