Check DITA Map for Unused Files

Hi!

Is there a way to check to see if my *.ditamap file includes all of the *.dita files in a specific folder/project/etc.

I want to confirm that I haven't left anything out before I "print".

Hello Stacey,

Yes, starting from oXygen 17.0 there is a way to find those resources from a given list of folders that are not referenced from any DITA map in a given list of maps. In the DITA Maps Manager, if you invoke the contextual menu on the root, you will find an action called Find Unreferenced Resources..., which provides the functionality you desire.

If you have unreferenced resources, you will see them in a results tab. If not, you will see the status Operation finished in the status bar at the bottom of oXygen, but no results tab.
