XML Refactoring Tool status
Post by urbanrobots »
Hi,
Whenever we run the XML Refactoring Tool on hundreds of files, the process can understandably take a long time. Oxygen shows only "Saving affected resources" so we have no idea which file in the selected project hierarchy is being updated. Can we somehow see a status of the files being being saved? The first step in the flow, "Analyzing files", shows the current file being analyzed. Something like this would be more useful.
Also, for some reason, I notice that the XML Refactoring Tool performs better on Windows than on Mac.
Take care,
- Nick

Hi Nick,
What you say makes sense, I will add an internal issue to show in the progress information about each file being saved.
About this remark:

About this remark:
As it copies lost of files on disk the saving part may depend on how fast the hard drive is, for example you may have an SSD on windows. Or it may depend on how the file system copy operations are implemented by the OS.Also, for some reason, I notice that the XML Refactoring Tool performs better on Windows than on Mac.
