Hi Mounika,
A colspec is an element and it is hidden because of a CSS rule like this:
You should put all your CSS rules inside a CSS and afterwards, go to Options->Preferences, on the Document Type Association page and edit or extend the DITA document type. Open the Author tab, then the CSS tab. Press the New button to add a reference to this new CSS. Please note that the CSS should be saved inside {oxygenInstallDir}/frameworks/dita in order for the framework to be self containing.
Best regards,
Alex
