need help generating webhelp without iframes
Hi,
Is there a way to generate webhelp without iFrames? I ask because iFrames are invisible to web crawlers. To Google, our site is one single page and this impacts user experience as users are not able to search/retrieve the content in our website directly from a search engine.
Thanks,
Kanchana

Hello,
Starting with Oxygen version 18.0 you can use the new DITA Map WebHelp Responsive transformation that generates responsive HTML pages without iFrames.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Bogdan

Hello,
We currently do not have any information regarding the fact that Google does not correctly index the pages that contains iFrames. Until now, our online user manual was published using WebHelp Classic (the iFrame version) and we never had any issue with the Google indexing the user manual.
Regards,
Bogdan
