How to create new DITA task / topic templates in Author

Hello All,

What are the steps to create the new/custom template for new DITA topic / task based on business requirements.

Like while creation of custom-dita-topic by default 4 steps with command should appear and template should contain following title.

Pre-requisite / Assumption / Action items with cmd / outcome / Next action plan.

This is just example of template looking to create. How can create the template for the same.

Hello,

Each template is basically a file where the file name represents the template title and the file content is the template content. As far as DITA is concerned, by default, these templates are located inside ${oxygenInstallDir}/frameworks/dita/templates. You can add more templates(files) at this location. In the Userguide we have a detailed topic about how to add templates.
