Problems with V6.0

I have just upgraded to V6.0.

First, it unhelpfully threw away all of my carefully-set options: I have put
them back.

However, now it insists on doing things I most certainly do not want it to
do. In particular, whenever I type in a tag, it ALWAYS follows it by the
closing tag. I do not want this. I have tried turning off every option I can
find, but it still insists on doing it. The previous version did not do this.
I can find nothing about it in the help information.

How do I stop it inserting the closing tag?

Hello,

There is a new build available on the download page that fixes the options problem. Please download the install kit again and go to menu Options - Import previous preferences.

In the new build you can disable the option Close the inserted element in the panel Editor / Tag Insight / Features so that the opening tag is not followed automatically by the closing tag.

It would have been helpful to have pointed out that the existing V6.0
product must be manually removed before the new one can be installed.
It was annoying to find this out after downloading and having to repeat
the installation.

Even better, you should have given the corrected product a different
version number!
