Trang conversion: Missing "." before extention in

Post by KatK »

Whenever I convert anything using Trang, the new filenames it generates for any external entities do not contain the "." before the extention. For instance, if I convert a DTD (with external file entities) to RelaxNG, it will create the name of the schema correctly, but it converts the external entity filenames without the "." (such as "common.ent" to "common.entrng"). This happens in all Trang convert functions -- DTD to Relax, W3C to DTD, etc. for the external file entities (aka "includes"). It also misses the "." in the include: (<xs:include schemaLocation="metadata.elexsd"/>)

I noticed an issue close to this problem was reported earlier as a bug (posted by "pfstrack" on Apr 07, 2004 Post subject: Problem with Trang in Eclipse 2.1.x). Is this still a bug, or is there a fix that I've missed installing?

I am still evaluating the oXygen XML editor v5.0 (using the 30-day evaluation), using Windows XP with 1GB RAM, and using the Eclipse 3.0.1 environment with Java 2 Runtime Environment SE v1.4.2_06 installed.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
