problem with spell-check and apostrophe

Post by fbrzvnrnd »

Hi,

I have installed the italian dictionary, and it is working fine except one problem: all the phrases using the typographic apostrophe are marked as "wrong" and Oxygen suggest me to use the non-typographic apostrophe inside. For example:

l’uomo (marked as wrong)
l'uomo (suggested as right).

'cause I use Oxygen to build ebook, I need the opposite. I do not find the way to tell Oxygen to set the typographic apostrophe as "good one" instead the other non-typographic.

Is there a way?

Thank you.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is a bug in Oxygen v13.2 and earlier that prevents the spell checker from correctly recognizing the typographic apostrophe. I'm afraid there is no workaround for those versions. The only solution is to upgrade to v14.

If you are interested in purchasing an upgrade to version 14, please write to support AT oxygenxml DOT com and our sales department will offer you a discount coupon.

Thank you for the answer. Actually I have not a great need to update, but I'll evaluate the coupon you suggest me.

Have a nice day.
