Oxygen Command Line

Post by couet »

Hi,

I have made a User's Guide using Oxygen. All is fine. I can generate PDF files and also HTML files using the Interactive Oxygen.

Now we would like to generate the manual every night using a script command file.
I did not find a simple recipe to do that.
I found an old post saying that running a transformation in a command line mode is not possible... is it really the case ? ... I hope not ! ...

Cheers,
Olivier

Hello,

What type of document(DITA, DocBook, etc) have you used for the User Guide?

Unfortunately the Oxygen transformations can only be invoked in user interactive mode, not from the command line.

However, for most document types it's not that difficult to create an ant task that does about the same thing that Oxygen does in its transformations.
