Content completion change in version 11
Post by martindholmes »
I'm noticing that the content completion/suggestion system is not working as helpfully as it used to in previous versions. I'm editing a document, and I go to enter an attribute value which is defined as one or more URIs, like this:
<ref target="#aida_1994">Aida (1994)</ref>
In previous versions, when I typed this:
target="
the list of existing xml:id attributes in the document would appear as suggested content, which was very helpful. In version 11, I have to type an extra space, after the opening quote, to get the suggestion list; then when I choose one from the list, the space remains in place, so I end up with this:
target=" #aida_1994"
and then have to go back and remove the space. Is there some way to change this behaviour back to the way it used to work?
Cheers,
Martin

Re: Content completion change in version 11
Dear Martin,
We are not able to reproduce this issue.
Please make sure you use the latest 11.2 build from our website
http://www.oxygenxml.com/download_oxygenxml_editor.html
We tested with the [oxygen]/samples/tei/TEI-Lite-P5-documentation.xml file trying to add a ref/@target attribute.
If you still have problems please send also a cut down sample and a description to allow us to reproduce that behavior.
Best Regards,
George
