Has anybody tried to use the new release of Saxon (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/saxon/saxonb8-0.zip) as an external (JAXP) transformer? I've tried it using the same setup described in the help article available on this site, and no joy. This setup worked fine with oxygen + Saxon 7.x, but the combination with Saxon 8 hangs. Not sure if the problem is in Saxon, in oxygen, or in the combination of the two.

(Saxon 8 has support for xslt2.0/xpath2.0, so I'm curious to try it out.)

We've tried Saxon 8 on standalone and Eclipse plugin versions and it seems to be working.
