DITA: Filtering failing with specialized domain attributes

Hi, all...

I have specialized the props attribute in the DITA OT that comes with Oxygen 11. The specializations seems to be OK, because my new attributes show up in the Attributes view and I can assign values to them for any element or topicref.

However, when I try to filter on them at the ditamap level, either by using in my DITA transformation scenario a ditaval file or the Oxygen built-in exclusion capability, no topics are filtered in the output.

I have put my specializations in the dtd's in this location only:

C:\Program Files\Oxygen XML Editor 11\frameworks\dita\DITA-OT\dtd\technicalContent\dtd

The specializations were added to map.dtd, concept.dtd, and so on.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Steve,

As far as I know only a couple of attributes are looked at when performing content filtering.

In in this XSLT stylesheet for example:
OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\dita\DITA-OT\xsl\xslhtml\flag.xsl
you can search for the getrules template and see what attributes are looked at.

Maybe you can get more information on the DITA Users List.
