Keyboard mapping problem

Hi,

oXygen seems to clutter up my keyboard mappings, for instance
the keys with "< ," and ">." become ";," and ":.". I did find
the <>-keys at last, they are under key "|\".

Why does this happen, and -more important- how do I set things
right? Other applications, running at the same time, are not affected.
I installed oXygen 1.2.4 without Java, current Java version on my machine is 1.4.1_01.

Follow up on my own post: I reinstalled oXygen and the keyboard problem disappeared...
