[oxygenxml.editor-10.2.0] installation issue

I have not found any documentation on this, that's why I am posting here.

I have an issue with installing the oxygen plugin when downloading the zip file manually.

When I extract the zipfile the folder structure looks like that:

com.oxygenxml.editor_10.2.0/plugins/com.oxygenxml.editor_10.2.0/frameworks/docbook/4.4/dtd/ChangeLog

...

The com.oxygenxml.editor_10.2.0 is top directory. So when I extract this with:

unzip com.oxygenxml.editor_10.2.0-eclipse-3.4.zip -d /opt/eclipse

...like it is common with other plugins this will not install correctly. I have to move the plugins/feature folder manually to the eclipse folder.

Can somebody explain this?

Hello,

As you can read on the Download page for Eclipse 3.4 the zip distribution must be unzipped in the dropins subfolder of the Eclipse folder. For Eclipse 3.3 it must be unzipped in the Eclipse folder. I see that you downloaded the zip distribution for Eclipse 3.4. If you try to install it in an Eclipse 3.4.x version just unzip it in the dropins subfolder and restart Eclipse.
