sftp suddenly stopped working properly

Hi oXygen staff, and oXygen users,

SFTP seems to have stopped working properly for me.

I've tried using SFTP to different servers, and I also tried two different instances of oXygen (albeit both version 9.3). All cases are having issues.

At first I thought it was the host server, but then I had issues browsing a different server. One server gives me authentication and filenotfound errors.

The other server is stranger. It gives me a permission denied error. And if I put a URL to an filepath, it doesn't go to the file it goes to the root of the server. And if I try to browse to my home directory I get the permission denied error again.

I also tried two other SFTP programs: psftp and winscp. Both of those work fine. No errors at all, it defaults to my home directory, and I have not permission errors.

So, this is baffling. What used to work fine all the time just stopped working.

Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone have a suggestion?

Can you post the server details for reproducing the problem and see if it is a problem in the SFTP client included in Oxygen? If not please contact us to tell you how you can enable logging in Oxygen for getting more details about the errors.
