creating a book
Hi
My manager wants me to structure the content page as a book with the topics linked as chapters in the book. When the user opens the help system, first should click the book to open the chapters. Is this feature possible in Oxygen XML? As Oxygen XML is automatically generating while compiling, how is it possible to create a book? Please help

Hello,
Did you choose already the framework in which the book will be created? For creating a book with content that can be organized and presented as a table of contents that includes a sequence of chapters I think the DocBook framework can be used. Oxygen comes with schemas for DocBook 4 and DocBook 5 documents and stylesheets for transforming the documents to output formats like PDF, HTML, HtmlHelp, Eclipse Help, etc. The are some video demonstrations on the Documentation page about editing DocBook documents in Oxygen: editing DocBook documents in the Author mode, content completion and predefined transformations for DocBook documents, working with DocBook customization layers in Oxygen.
