How to display tracked changes without footnotes and change markers
Hi folks, I'm struggling with displaying tracked changes in Word. Any help is appreciated!
I want to generate a Word output for a large ditamap, with the tracked changes (insertions, deletions, draft comments) displayed for reviews. I'm using the default Word transformation scenario in Oxygen XML Author but I want the changes to be displayed without footnotes or range markers (i.e. the { } that enclose the changes). Is that possible?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: How to display tracked changes without footnotes and change markers
Hi,
Oxygen's bundled DITA Open Toolkit publishing engine uses an open source plugin to convert DITA XML to Word:
https://github.com/jelovirt/com.elovirta.ooxml
So the plugin could probably be modified to treat Oxygen track changes, comments in certain ways but I do not know specifics for this, one would need to try this out.
In the meantime I would suggest our Content Fusion platform web platform as a way to share content for review with SMEs:
