How to keep one of the view active while switching between documents?
I can activate an XML document (in Text mode) and show XPath/XQuery Builder on the top of multiple views. If I switch to another XML document, the XPath view is still on the top. But when I switch to another type of document, XProc or XSLT for example, the Attributes view shows automatically on the the top. And when I switch back to the XML, the Attribute view reamins on the top.
Is it possible to keep one view on the top no matter what type of the document has the focus?

Hello and sorry for the late reply!
I also tested the cases mentioned by you and I ran into the same kind of problems.
Not always, but I must admit it happened quite often, in an unpredictable and irritating way.
I will log an issue anyway, for further investigation.
Unfortunately, I don't have a clear suggestion for you, as a workaround.
You could try a Reset Layout first, then, if the problems persist, you could close the views that are not useful to you in your current work session, so that their automatic activation does not overlap the XPath/XQuery Builder view.

Teo
