Incomplete set of transformation scenarios
Post by jdwinfodesign »
Working in Oxygen XML Editor 24.1 on Windows 11, I usually have no problems switching out between different versions of the DITA Open Toolkit and have always had a complete set of Transformation Scenarios available. Today, after creating a new project and working in it for a while, I needed to add a DITA-OT plugin and when I opened the dialog to run the Integrator transformation scenario, there were no transformation scenarios available.
I manually ran "dita install" command in to toolkit bin directory, and now the DITA HTML and PDF transformation scenarios appeared but no others.
I switched to the default OT "Oxygen DITA Publishing Engine" and the situation remained the same.

Re: Incomplete set of transformation scenarios
Hi,
How about if you re-start Oxygen after you change to the default DITA OT in the Oxygen Preferences->""Oxygen DITA Publishing Engine"" page?
When running the DITA OT integrator in a DITA OT set up as default in the Preferences->""Oxygen DITA Publishing Engine"" page I would suggest you to run it from inside Oxygen:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... tor-2.html
In this way Oxygen will know to re-detect DITA OT plugins. If you run it from the command line, Oxygen has no way of knowing something changed.
Also please check if running the DITA OT integrator shows any error messages...
Regards,
Radu

Pretty sure I did that. Hard to tell now, though, because I did a fresh re-install and it works now. I will try your suggestion if I run into this again.
Thanks.
Thanks.
