Keywords on main webhelp page
Hi folks,
Is there a way to include DITA keywords for the main webhelp page? As an example, if I set "Our Software Release 10.0" as the title for my HTML map-of-maps, web searches will not automatically recognize "SW" as a valid keyword to reach the page, while they do recognize "Software". We have set some keywords in the map-of-maps to work around this, but in producing output, no keywords are appearing in the source HTML for the webhelp output. Is there some trick to get this to work?
Thanks!
Dan

Re: Keywords on main webhelp page
Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no out-of-the-box support to transfer the keywords from the DITA Map's root to the main page in the WebHelp output, using the current implementation of the WebHelp plugin. Probably this could be done through an XSLT customization though.
Also, according to the DITA specification, the keywords should be processed only for DITA topics, but we consider this use-case valid so that we added an issue to consider processing the keywords towards the main page.
We will notify this thread when/if a different implementation will become available in a future release of Oxygen.
Regards,
Costin
