Reusable Component Window is not populating
Post by muralikrishna »
Selecting a root map consisting of key submaps in Oxygen XML author, reusable component window is not listing the keydefs every time. Clearing the cache, reopen Oxygen is populating them.
Do we have any way/option/configurations to fill the window always with keydefs.

Re: Reusable Component Window is not populating
Hi,
The "DITA Reusable Components" view has three tabs, are you referring to the "Components" tab?
In the Oxygen DITA Maps Manager view there should be a "Context" combo box which points to the main DITA Map. That context DITA Map is used by Oxygen to find reusable content topics (topics referenced using keydef in the DITA Map or with the processing-role=resource-only attribute).
From what I tested if that main referenced DITA Map or one of its submaps is modified and saved in Oxygen the "Components" tab should refresh, I"m testing with Oxygen 24.0 on my side.
What version of Oxygen are you using for tests? If you put together a small sample project exemplifying the problem and some steps you can email us (support@oxygenxml.com) that sample project and we can perform more tests on our side.
Regards,
Radu
