font style changes in chapter headings

How to change the font style and size and from italic to bold and more over these kind of settings for chapter sections title and sub section titles.
I want a PDF output using CSS

Please read the Fonts related sections from the DITA-OT CSS Publishing to PDF plugin User-Guide and from the Chemistry User-Guide, if you do not manage to obtain the desired output, let us know exactly what you tried through your own CSS customization and what exactly did not work and, as time allows, we will try have a look at your CSS and help with some ideas.
