Moving settings folder not possible any more ?
I switched recently to Oxygen v18 (on 64bit Win 7).
As in earlier versions I wanted to move the settings folder to another place (a brother directory of the Oxygen installation directory).
In the past this worked by entering the following line into the file oxygen18.0.vmoptions:
-Dcom.oxygenxml.customOptionsDir=..\petersettings
When I do this now it doesn't work any more.
After double click on oxygen.bat Oxygen still uses the default folder
C:\Users\peter\AppData\Roaming\com.oxygenxml
for its settings.
Does the trick with the vm option not work any more?
How else can I move the settings folder?
Peter

Re: Moving settings folder not possible any more ?
Hello,
The .vmoptions has never worked for the .bat, only for the .exe launcher of the same name. e.g. oxygen18.0.vmoptions for oxygen18.0.exe
So, if you've already made the change to the .vmoptions file, just use the .exe.
If you want to use the .bat, you have to edit the .bat and add in the command from the last line (after %OXYGEN_JAVA%) the argument.
Regards,
Adrian
