Trying to insert a weblink resulting in nullPointerException

Using Oxygen 17.1, I have a writer who is unable to insert a weblink into a DITA topic. She gets this error:

Couldn't execute operation: 'ro.sync.ecss.extensions.dita.link.InsertXrefOperation' for action: 'Web Link...' because of: class java.lang.NullPointerException - null

I am not able to reproduce this issue on my machine. We use the Eclipse client in case that matters.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Hi Matt,

If your colleague is willing to help us out in finding where the exception comes from, you can contact us directly using support@oxygenxml.com and we can provide a logging configuration file to enable logging in her Oxygen plugin installation.
Then we can look over the log that she'll provide and we'll have a better idea about what's going on.
