Cross-reference functionality with Firefox

Hi,

I created a cross reference link within a single doc. I wanted to refer the reader from one part of this doc to another part near the beginning.

When I created a cross-reference link and tested it in Firefox, clicking the link opens or goes to a blank page. When I test this in Chrome, the link works properly and takes me to the connected content.

Here's what I did:

1. Added an ID to my target paragraph as shown:

   Code: Select all

   <p id="p_dhq_tgh_bn"><b>First visit using device A</b></p>

2. Added a cross ref to a later section in my doc:

   Code: Select all

   <xref href="#concept_lpr_p1l_xm/p_dhq_tgh_bn"
   
       format="dita">first visit with device A</xref>

Why does this work in Chrome, but not in Firefox? I am using a Mac (OS 10.9).

Hello,

Does that happen in the Webhelp output and you use an Oxygen version older than 15.2? If yes please upgrade to version 15.2 because it was fixed in version 15.2, the same license key works with any 15.x version. If not please tell us in what output you get the problem and in what Oxygen version.
