Default edit mode settings being ignored

Hi,

Since updating to Oxygen 15.1, all files default to Author view when opening. This is despite the preferences [Editor -> Edit modes] having 'Text' assigned to all Document Types.

This has only started occurring since upgrading - no problems with Oxygen 15.

Not critical, but really irritating... Am I missing something or is this a known bug?

Hello,

Note that in the same option page (Editor / Edit modes) there's an option:
[x] Allow Document Type specific edit mode setting to override the general mode setting
that is enabled by default. That means the Text mode can be overridden depending on the setting from each document type.
If you want to force all documents (irrespective of document type) to be opened in Text mode by default, simply disable this option.
