How do I hide/show Specific Chapters in Author

Need to hide/show specific chapters for a book that I am working on for a user guide.

--Need to hide one chapter of the book.
--Need to unhide or show another chapter of the book.
--Updated the ditavals to exclude a chapter of the book and then include the other chapter of the book.

After I save the files and created a build, this didn't work. So, my question is how to a successfully hide one chapter and then show another chapter that existed in a previous version of the book.

So if you are editing a DITA bookmap with <chapter> elements, on each of these elements you can set a profiling attribute with a certain value. Then create a DITAVAL file to exclude a specific profiling attribute value.
