Reusing Content with DITA Conref
Hi all,
I’m trying to reuse content across several DITA topics using conref in Oxygen XML Developer. Sometimes the referenced content doesn’t appear in the preview. Is there a best practice for structuring files or organizing references to avoid this issue?

Hi,
First of all, Oxygen XML Author would be better for working with DITA. If you also need XML development capabilities, you could try Oxygen XML Editor, which is our flagship product, with features for both authoring and XML development.
Normally the reusable components should stay in a wharehouse topic, ideally in a separate DITA Map. You can take a look at this webinar about basic reuse and profiling strategies: https://youtu.be/cIHC_mlg1iA?si=D1cRZmBTnukx_zgO. Starting from 25:00, I present how to create conrefs.
