WebHelp standalone output issue from AEM Guides

Post by RobinM »

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with WebHelp output generated from AEM Guides cloud server.
I have been working with OOTB settings to get it integrated before I go towards trying to add the custom stuff that we have tested in Oxygen desktop.
I have it *mostly* working on AEM by using the webhelp-responsive transtype from a standard HTML5 output preset, and flattening the files. All the files are connecting to each other and the TOC properly.
The issue is that the Webhelp CSS is not being generated totally correctly. The files and linking come out correctly. It generates two very basic CSS files and does not generate the ones that do the basic blue tiles formatting and styling. It also is not building the search and index (but does build it when same transformation is run from Linux command line). I'm not sure what my next steps should be to get these pieces working from my server. Any ideas?
Thanks,
RobinM

Hello,

Unfortunately, we don’t have insight into how AEM Guides handles plugin integration under the hood. However, since your transformation ran successfully using the command line on Linux, the process itself seems to be functioning correctly.

For this issue, I recommend reaching out to AEM Guides support—they can assist with integrating Oxygen’s plugins into their system.

Regards,
Julien

Hi Julien, Thanks for your reply. I will continue trying different things and finding out if Adobe has advice for this.
