DITA to HTML5 transformation creates empty files
Post by tech_writer800 »
Hello,
I have a project in Polish that I am outputting to HTML5. The output HTML files are all empty except the TOC. I don't get any errors in the transformation. The map validates without errors. I ran into this problem once before because my header file was missing the closing paragraph tag, but that is not the problem here.
I have tried:

I have tried:
- Running the transformation without the header, footer, and css file.
Creating a new map
Running a different map file (German) with the transformation. The output was fine, so it's not the transformation.
Running just parts of the map to see if I could track the problem to a specific file or file set
Deleting the temp and output directories

Re: DITA to HTML5 transformation creates empty files
Hello,
Please provide more details about your environment, specifically, let us know which product and version you are using. Are you performing the transformation from within Oxygen, or are you using a custom DITA-OT?
This type of issue often occurs when there are references to resources, such as images or topics, that are located outside the main DITA map folder.
Have you performed a "Validate and Check for Completeness" operation on your DITA map, with the "Report references to resources outside of the DITA map folder" option enabled?
Regards,
Marius
