Does Oxygen xml editor need network access

When using Oxygen xml editor, do we need network access? As our company has very strict network access, we need to know if Oxygen xml editor needs network access and apply the cooperate access.

And if no network access needs, how can Oxygen xml editor verify the license?

Hello,

Oxygen does not need network access to run. By default it will try to access some remote resources for news (notifications) and check for new versions (updates). But it does not need either to run.
If you are using a license server, Oxygen will need network access to reach that license server, but that is within your local network, it does not need Internet access.

User based-licenses are verified offline. Only their validity (signature) is checked.
