Re: OS X jumping back to password screen

I am using OS X on an Imac DV wit 1gig ram, 30gig hard drive. I also have OS9.2 on same machine..

Whenever I boot up, it display the password screen, and after typing in the correct password, it goes into windows desktop..) for a mere second or two, then jump back to password menu.

Can anyone tell me what is going on? How can I get around this? I do not want to erase drive because I have imnportant files there.
