Using oxygen as a base editor?

My company is currently building a number of plugins to Eclipse, and I'm exploring the possibility of using the oxygen editor.

Can the Oxygen editor be 'embedded' in another window?

For example, I might have a multi-page editor (ala the plugin.xml PDE editor) that has a 'Source' tab. This tab would show the XML source code.

Could I use oxygen as the content of that source tab? If so, could I control such things as the schema to use, etc. programatically?

oXygen provide a SourceViewer that can be embedded in any SWT Composite. We are currently using it for other integrations.
