What does "Validate - Processed resources: 4097" mean?

What does "Validate - Processed resources: 4097" mean?

Hi,
After running DITA Map Validation and Completeness Check, I see message in bottom of screen that says
Validate - Processed resources: 4097
What does this mean exactly and what constitutes a resource?
Any advice appreciated,

Hi Ann,
Processed resource means in this case DITA Map or DITA topic.
A certain resource may be parsed multiple times if it is referenced in multiple key scopes.
