Improving loading performance of the 'Edit Topic Content' Beta feature

We are using the 'Edit Topic Content' Beta feature to allow our editors to view the entire document when editing it. We are finding that when we load a repository with ~ 400 topics, it takes about 3 minutes to load all the topics when accessing GitHub with the GitHub plugin. When we use the Git Plugin, the loading takes about 1 ½ minutes, however, since the Git plugin doesn't integrate with Okta, this causes usability issues for our users. Would like to know if anyone else is having this issue and if anyone has found a solution that loads the 'Edit Topic Content' Beta page faster.
