Command line processing

Post by vcocco »

In the Oxygen Editor Tools->External Tools section can you configure a command line option other than Chemistry?
I'd like to generate some PDF files from xml files without having to purchase a full-blown version of Chemistry.
Thanks,
Vin

Hello,

If you already purchased an Oxygen license, you do not need another one for Chemistry (as it is embedded).
If you want to transform XML documents using Chemistry you can simply create a new XML to PDF Transformation with CSS scenario inside Oxygen.

Regarding the "External Tools" section, you can configure any command you want as long as it is working in the system terminal.
Just copy the command line inside the External Tools > New dialog (in the Command line input).

This remarks does not apply on DITA documents.

Regards,
Julien
