Use the same string files for both Webhelp Responsive and PDF5.ml?

Post by steinbacherGE »

Is there a way to use the same set of string files for both Webhelp Responsive and PDF5.ml?

Currently we reference them within the plugins. If we have to make a change, we need to make it in 2 files.

We plan to upgrade to the latest version of both plugins within a new DITA-OT (3.2.1). Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Thanks,

Hi Leroy,

As far as I know our WebHelp output uses the base "dita.xsl.strings" extension to provide extra translated keys or languages:

I do not know anything about the PDF5.ml plugin, maybe you can ask the people who maintain the plugin.
