PDF Customization - TOC on odd page

Post by Julie P »

Hello,

I am trying to make the TOC starting on an odd page on my PDF output (I use a PDF custom plugin), but I did not manage to find guidelines. Is there a way to do this?

Hello,

Please note that oXygen XML comes bundled with Chemistry - our proprietary PDF publishing engine, based on CSS.
Using CSS instead of XSL-FO makes it a lot easier to customize the PDF output so I strongly recommend using either the DITA Map PDF based on HTML 5 and CSS transformation scenario (using Chemistry engine).
You can easily make the TOC start on odd page just by adding a CSS rule in your customization CSS.
More details available in the DITA-OT CSS Publishing to PDF Plugin User-Guide on our website.

In case that even so, you specifically want to use the DITA Map PDF - based on XSL FO, you should try addressing any DITA customization questions on the DITA Users-List
as there are a lot of DITA experts there that could help.

Best Regards,
