Creating RelTables

Hello:

We've used a conversion tool to move content into oXygen. It's automatically created a dita map.

The folder where my files are contains a lot of files that aren't in this dita map (which is correct).

I know I can drag-and-drop from a project directly into a dita map, but because of the file volume, I'm looking to do this from the dita map.

I can drag-and-drop from the source dita map (open in DITA Maps Manager) to the Rel Table dita map (open in Author view), but every time I do this, the DITA Maps Manager flips from the map I'm dragging content from to the map I'm dragging content to.

Is there any way that I can have the source map open in the DITA Maps Manager without flipping back to the Rel Table map? I tried moving the Rel Table map to another monitor, but then it wouldn't allow me to drag-and-drop from the DITA Maps Manager to the Rel Table map.

Hi Stacey,

In the DITA Maps Manager there is a "Link with editor" toggle button. Just click that to disable this selection synchronization between the files opened in the DITA Maps Manager and in the main editor area.
