use.stemming parameter in webhelp

The use.stemming parameter does not seem to turn on (or off) stemming in the webhelp search. Is there something else that we need to adjust along with the parameter?

Thank you for contacting us.
The search function returns all pages that contain words starting with the terms you are searching for. Sometimes, the search works like the stemming is enabled even if you have the "use.stemming" parameter set to false.
I have registered an issue regarding this behavior to be analyzed.
